Hello!

I’m Charlie Reisinger, an educational technology leader and school CIO at Penn Manor School District in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

I believe education is the most important human endeavor, and aspire to create programs and platforms to empower and inspire students.

My interests include educational technology, open source principles, digital privacy and security, and how artificial intelligence challenges schools to rethink teaching and learning in an age of synthetic media.

I’m an adjunct Information Technology (INTE) professor at Millersville University’s Lombardo College of Business. My courses include Cybersecurity, Human Computer Interaction, and IT Security, Privacy, and Ethics.

I wrote The Open Schoolhouse, to honor Penn Manor students and offer a model for open K-12 technology programs and student apprenticeships. Red Hat Films featured our work in the documentary: The Power of Open In Education.

Here’s a list of books I find engaging. Science ahead!
